Dewey loved people and rejoiced when his children married and he loved every grandchild and great-grandchild he had. Dewey could very mischievous, loved a joke, also loved to paint plastic eggs for Easter and Christmas. He loved parties and the gathering of his family.

As a very young boy, he began working at a meat market raking sawdust and eventually made his way to executive management for Mayfair Markets. Grandpa, as he was known to many, 'Paco' to some, and 'Sonny' to others, Bill was a man whose company you enjoyed. He had a way of making you feel welcomed with just his smile. He was humble and kind. He was a man of strength, compassion, and integrity, but most of all he loved Jesus.

He has a degree in Banking and Finance. Most of his life he was involved in banking and retired from the Commercial Bank as a Branch Manager. He devoted his life to serving the Salem-Keizer communities through his involvement in various committees.

Carl met and married Mary Bergland and they were married for over 69 years. Carl was a long-time member of Salem Evangelical Church and the 1st. Nazarene Church of Salem. He was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord and his family. A private family burial will be held with a public Celebration of his life later at the 1st. Gene was born and raised in Minnesota on a farm with his parents and siblings. He joined the Navy and served his country.

From there he lived in Dallas, Oregon and worked for a logging company where he met his wife Betty and her three children. A man that loved many things, his family was always first. His children Chris, Tammy and Marty meant the world to him. Gene loved selling cars and made a career out of it. He bought his ranch in to raise beef cattle and he did this with much love and pride until his last breath.

He truly enjoyed his cows. He also loved to hunt and fish. Gene was a wonderful person who will be missed dearly by all of us. He was a member of the band and football team. Upon graduation, he joined the U. Army and was stationed in Germany. Walt was very proud to serve his country and was a retired army veteran. Walt lived in the Salem area for about 35 years with the exception of the last 7 months living in Reno, Nevada under the loving care of Donna Ellis.

Walt was a licensed pilot and loved to fly. He enjoyed going out on his boat fishing and crabbing. Walt was always very active and liked being outside whether it was water or snow skiing, golfing or just working out in his yard. They attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Sapulpa, OK most of their married life where lifelong friends became like family. Betty enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting, reading especially her Bible , and always preparing meals for friends and family. But most of all she enjoyed being with her family and serving the Lord through giving to missions and serving as Sunday School Class teacher and Ladies Mission Leader.
